Changes to the law in NSW
Earlier this year, a new law for people with disability was agreed on by the NSW Parliament.
The new law is called the Disability Inclusion Act 2014.
The new law is about making sure that people with disability can take part in our community.
Family & Community Services want the new law to start soon.
Before the law can start, there needs to be agreement on the rules about how the law will work in practice.
This set of rules is called the Disability Inclusion Regulation 2014.
Family & Community Services want to know what people think of the draft Regulation.
You are welcome to share your ideas about the draft Regulation with them.
Once the draft Regulation is finished, they will start to use the new law.
